I was bouncing between physio clinics for a year and half and I could never seem to get the right help for my lingering shoulder problems. Once I went to Craven to see Curtis it was great, he was very helpful and we worked out the kinks with my shoulder and now I am pain free. I highly recommend anyone with problems to go see him ASAP he really knows his stuff!

Part of the magic of having a trainer, physical therapist and nutritionist under one roof is that they can talk to each other, so all efforts work in unison. They have a lot of other services I haven't used as well - acupuncture, sleep therapist, physician, concussion care. One can truly get complete care here.

They've also been great about helping me with sports injuries, giving me a program to keep active while letting the injury make a full recovery, then breaking me back into my old routine in a sensible fashion. I especially learned a lot about getting back to running after a long and horrible flu.

Some of the people I train beside are real athletes, some are recovering from major injuries, some are learning to live a full life with disabilities, some are elderly and looking to age in comfort. Some, like myself, are just looking to be fit and healthy.

It was so effective I worked through all my nagging aches and discomforts, learning a lot about my body and gathering a collection of excesses and stretches to fix most common problems on my own, making self care much easier.

Then I went to them to become a stronger hiker, to build my upper body, and for kayaking. It's made a huge difference in my ability to be active and not feel shy and weak. It opened a world of travel: mountain hiking in the Rockies, kayaking in Thailand, trekking in Scotland.

Curtis did an excellent job helping me manage a shoulder issue. Over the course of a few months and a half dozen appointments my shoulder feels great. I have recommended Craven Sport Services to multiple people since I started going there. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Then came the day when I broke a bone after a bad fall. My surgeon was pleased I had chosen Craven to rehabilitate my arm and torn ligaments in my wrist. They were in communication with the doctor and got a copy of my x-rays. Physical therapy was painful, but I got full range of motion in my arm and fingers back. Then they helped me get all the strength back in my arm, and eventually I was back to doing push ups and lifting weights. If it weren't for my surgery scar, I would never know I had broken it.

I had my son in to work with Curtis to treat a fractured bone in his foot. We were very happy with the attention he received, and with how thorough Curtis was in his treatment. Although my son wanted to get back to playing sports as soon as possible, the focus was on long term health and proper healing.

I am a dedicated user of their gym. They provide you with a program based on current fitness and goals, then the gym is open during specific hours on weekdays for you to do your workout. A professional walks the room helping everyone with their technique and spotting when necessary.

The attention received from Ainsley & Cohl was second to none. They worked together to provide stretches & exercise programs. Their ability to push me to levels I didn't think I could obtain was very much appreciated. They truly take a personal interest in the recovery of their clients.

I have used the following services at Cravens: physio, Fit for Life & massage for many years. Most recently I required their services from the initial treatment through secondary assessment to recover from injuries sustained in a car accident.

In short - this place is amazing. I went from being a slightly pudgy couch potato to being active and exploring the world. Whether you have fitness goals, discomfort or specialized needs, Craven is the place to go.

After developing knee pain with no clear cause, my doctor suggested a physical therapist. They concluded that my walking posture during long hikes was the culprit and helped me improve my motion, providing exercises and stretches to do on my own as part of prevention.

Free of pain, I wondered if they could help me become a beginner runner. They got me on a treadmill and taught me proper posture to protect joints or muscles, taught me about buying the right shoes, and gave me a running programming. I appreciate their scientific approach which cut through the bad advice of magazines and blogs. Eventually, they gave me a heart rate training system which taught me how to use the information my fitness tracker provided in a meaningful way. I worked with their nutritionist to support my running and weight goals.

Just... Amazing. The are the anchor of my physical health. I first came to address knee pain - then to rehabilitate my arm after a badly broken bone - then to prepare for a 160 km hike. I get my massages here, I use their sports nutritionist, and I train in their gym. They have made the world my oyster, and have been my guides and guardians.
