The staff at Edwards has been accommodating to many student initiatives, ideas, and programs. There are so many things one can get involved with that it can become overwhelming. Thankfully for the staff there, they take the time to help with the decisions of what programs to get involved with and point students in the right direction. All the student needs to do is take action and go talk to them. I soon will be a proud recipient of an Edwards School of Business degree and until then, I will continue to be a proud student and BCEP participant of the Edwards School of Business.

DONT APPLY HERE: ESB has very poor academic support staff. Ive been a student here for 5 years and would strongly advise against asking for help from the academic advisors unless you want to be very disappointed in your final year. They change course offerings on a dime, forcing you to unecessarily pay an extra year of tuition (I've witnessed this more than once). The general office is very un-willing to help students achieve their career goals because it is too inconvenient for them- I regret spending 5 years here. They boast they are among the best but don't actually prove they are adequate to doing their jobs. I wont even start on the unethical practices (although strategically masked) of the BCEP Coop program... That is a whole new can of worms! If I could help one student choose a great university and truly value their education, than I have done my job by posting my experiences at Edwards School of Business. Cheers.

I am approaching my 4th year as a business student at the Edwards School of Business and it has been nothing short of an incredible experience. Myself, my friends and my fellow classmates have been treated very well by administration, greeted with a smile and willingness to help, and have our class and major-related needs accommodated to the best of their abilities.

I have been in the Cameco Business Cooperative Education Program (BCEP) program for over a year now and I can tell you that I am smarter, more mannered, greater experienced, and more exposed to the business world because of it. Not to mention the friendships of other students in the program and the business connections I have received at my current workplace. In fact, the program has helped me discover where I want to take my career and the opportunities through the work I have been doing has exposed me to Aboriginal culture in Saskatchewan, mining and nuclear energy, and the new era of Corporate Social Responsibility and the positive bottom line implications of it. I have also increased my networking capabilities, overall mannerism, resume/cover letter/writing abilities, personal refection, and the importance of relationship building. I would like to thank Mr. Brent Wellman, Program Director, for accommodating my stubbornness and taking the time to figure out what type of person I am. Our working relationship has never been better and he is a person that I can always rely on for business advice. The experiences from this program have made me a better person who is far more business minded than ever before.
