  Went in there to rent a carpet cleaner, and the guy was extremely helpful in recommending the correct cleaner as well as an appropriate cleaning agent. Also took the time to demonstrate proper usage and carpet cleaning strategies.

  Quick question: If I rent on Friday at 9pm for 24hrs, but the store closes at 8pm on Saturday, does that mean the 24hrs extends to the Sunday...? Oh well, we'll see on Sunday.

  I have been going to this Home Depot since a bought my house last August. I have spent in between $14,000 - $16,000 in those 8 or 9 month, and everyone there was great to deal with untill the first time I had a problem. I bought a gazebo from them about 4 weeks back, and had a few panels that were damaged in the middle of the box. I had to go down to the Home Depot EVERY day for 15 days to figure out if they were able to get me replacement parts. No one knew what could be done because Everything had to go threw the seasonal manager, and he apparently refused to call me back, or provide any sort of customer care at all. Every person I talked too was friendly and left written notes for the manager to call me back, even tho he did not. I finally showed up while he was working and he was very rude and acted like it was an inconvenience that I was there. By the time I got replacement panels, the $1000 product was 22% off and they would not give me the difference in price after all the time wasted driving down every night to this Home Depot. I will never go back here again. I hope the other Home Depot has better customer service.

  Called and waited for someone in the Electrical department, with my own experience working in retail I understand it's busy so I didn't mind the wait. When I was finally on the phone with someone they barely let me get 2 words in after I said I had a question regarding ceiling fans. They assumed what I was calling about and didn't even listen when I tried to say what I was actually asking about.. they WERE NOT helpful. They didn't even answer the question I had tried to ask but something completely different that I didn't even need the answer to!! I thought that was rather ignorant. I called the South store and they were extremely helpful and let me fully explain my question and gave me a full response and made sure I understood their answer. Unimpressed with the customer service over the phone.
