    The ladies at Birks were absolutely excellent when I went to shop for an engagement ring. The professionalism and expertise they showed was far and above any other jewellery store in Saskatoon. You know what you are getting with the brand, but the customer service made the difference.

    Absolutely the worst experience of my life. I took my engagement and wedding rings back here to have them repaired after an accident. They told my husband they would contact us with an appraisals before the repair. After 6 weeks passed I had my husband call and they informed me that they had no record of ever receiving my over $40,000 wedding set. Livid and sick I called and the girl I spoke with was very casual and said they were looking into it but needed more time. That they would call me eventually with info. I asked what they would do if they didn't find them seeing as we had proof of dropping them off and her response was they would cross that bridge when they got there. I told her I was contacting my lawyer and miraculously they found my rings immediately. They offered to cover $500 OF the bill for my troubles and now 4 months later... I still am waiting for my rings. I will NEVER ship here again.
