Fantastic coffee and bread. Friendly service. Wish they had more vegan options for snacks but what they do offer is delicious

My favorite bakery. They put an emphasis on quality, local, organic ingredients, which is reflected in their outstanding flavor. My daughter loves the canelé (only place in the city to get one I think), and I love the croissants and focaccia bead. Great coffee (from local roster, Venn), and pizza on Fridays is a nice treat.

On the pricey end of things. Great baked goods. They also sell espresso based drinks, and sweets/savoury treats, as well as cold sandwiches.

The pizza is another story though, disappointing I must say, after reading all the reviews was expecting something fantastic, out of this world, unfortunately its nouveau style pretentious pizza, no sauce, crumbs of bacon, arugula dropped on top, not crispy or crunchy crust, and way too pricey for what you are getting, they have to reinvent their recipe for pizza, I know they can do better. They have the great oven to work with, I am really surprised something this ordinary and uninspiring came out of that oven. Don't know what everyone is raving about, don't get it, its a disappointment and a waste of money, basically $20 for crappy pizza. Did better at Romano's in Brandon, nice pizza that totally fills you up for $11, who can beat that?

Best bakery between Vancouver and Ontario, in fact there is not even any bakery as good as Night Oven in Toronto, where there are numerous bakeries, too many to mention, eg Freds Bread, St. Johns Bakery, Cliffside Hearth Bakery. These bakeries don't even use organic flour, they just have unbleached flour. The reason this is the best bakery is that organic flour is incorporated into all their bread, heritage wheat such as red fife, their sourdough is the best in Canada, they use wheat grown in that province and Brick oven baked. The pastries and gallettes are good too. Best bakery west of Quebec. Still looking for the best pretzel place, am afraid I have to leave the country for that one.

Best bakery in the city! For every bite, you'll know their pastries are made from thorough process and careful baking. Plus they also have Venn coffee beans which I love! This bakery is worth looking for within the busy streets of downtown.
